‘We have received a tremendous amount of help and support from the BCSC programme especially with regards to getting Chas accreditation. David and Tony have guided us throughout the whole process. They have been extremely helpful and a real pleasure to work with.’
Jonathan Fisher, Operations Director, Philip Morrison Kitchens Ltd
‘As a Barnet-based business, we’d fully encourage other SME’s to sign up to the Barnet Construction Supply Chain Project – it’s a win-win situation where developers can source products and services from local companies, and local companies can grow their businesses and expand their customer base. David and the team have been brilliant at living up to their slogan ‘helping local companies win more work’ and we’re now in touch with potential clients on large scale projects which we wouldn’t have been if it wasn’t for the proactive help of MTW Consultants and the Economic Development Team at Barnet Council.’
Harvey Walton, Director, Landmark (Hornbeck Ltd)
By 2030 Barnet’s population is likely to rise to 450,000 and the borough has one of the most ambitious regeneration programmes in the country – to deliver 35,500 new homes by 2036. A cornerstone of the strategy is the £7 billion Brent Cross Town development with its new Thameslink station, a joint venture between Barnet Council and Argent Related. The new Brent Cross West station will provide the gateway to this new park town and is part of the wider Brent Cross Cricklewood regeneration scheme being led by the Council. The developers and the Council are committed to using the local supply chain and helping more Barnet companies benefit from investment taking place across the borough.
