Barnet supplier successes!
Supplier successes:
Riello Construction Ltd was contracted by Barnet Estates to repair and replace 30m of fencing on Oakleigh Road following assistance from us to get the company approved on to the Council’s financial system.
MPG Contracts Ltd was put forward by us to St George for the dry lining package on their Silk Park project and has been invited to tender.
St George has appointed PB Donoghue Ltd, a local SME, for a waste management contract on Silk Park.
Three more tenders are due to go out to BCSC companies in the next few weeks.
Fantastic turnout from Barnet businesses
The official launch of the project was held at Barnet & Southgate College on 7thJuly. In total there were some 53 attendees of which 37 were from local SMEs, representing 32 local SMEs. Presentations were made by Cllr. Ross Houston, the BSCS project, Related Argent, Barnet Estates, St George, the Barnet Group and the College. This was followed by a good one hour networking session.
